Last Friday saw Zoophyte kick start the QV Summer Concert Series at the famous QV precinct in Melbourne. This FREE event, is a series of weekend outdoor gigs running for the month of February, where patrons can kick back on a beanbag, soak up the afternoon sun and enjoy the tunes.
Melbourne band The Wellingtons hit the stage first on yet another super hot, 30 degree afternoon… and were awesome! It was the first time that we’d played the new album in a striped back, semi acoustic format which was interesting… but we enjoyed the challenge and loved every minute of it.
Massive thanks to Rachelle, Greta and all the QV team for making the event a delight to be a part of. Mental note for Cam… If you’re worried about sweat patches, don’t wear grey to gigs… especially on the hot day!
