Zoophyte

In the last 6 months we have been writing some new little ditty’s for our soon to be released album (early next year). It has been a tough year out of the scene with past members leaving the group back in January, but the grass just seems to be getting greener and greener as we push ourselves harder to write new material and find a line up.

During this time we have found Elvis Aljus, the new drummer for Zoophyte. Elvis is an extremely hard working and dedicated individual who has been in the scene for many a year, and has played music with many great musicians. He also likes knitting (in particular cashmere vests), and pigeon racing with which he has represented Victoria on 3 occasions.

We’re stoked to have him on board and are pumped with the new energy and excitement he brings to the group. Our goal is to fine tune our set and start gigging again real soon. We will also be posting our new songs up on our MySpace as soon as we have them Demo’d which should be late November. Stay tuned guys!
