Interestingly, the religious sect which formed the United Society of Believers in Christ’s Second Appearing back in the 1700′s were called “Shakers,” which has nothing to do with this video. And what’s even more intriguing is that this group was founded upon the teachings of Ann Lee, who is coincidently no relation to Cam Lee! Strange, hey?
A “Shaker” can also be described as a container, partially full of small loose objects such as beads, which create the percussive sounds as they collide together.
But if you’re stuck in a studio struggling to find a container with beads, or a 1700′s sect member with a crazy belief… then just rub your hands together. Not only will it warm you up, but you’ll get the perfect subtle tone that money just can’t buy!
